Anne Diamond is set to launch a diet book that will make her £250,000, although she only lost 1lb in three weeks on a reality TV slimming show.
The ex-television presenter is appearing on Celebrity Fit Club gives an of years of yo-yo dieting and the ongoing battle with obesity.
She is going to earn £250,000 from the book, up to now with the title : It's Not a Sin to Eat.
It will also include accounts from other dieting celebrities. The support website, www.fathappens.com, is going to be launched too.
Miss Diamond's appearance on the reality TV show, where two teams compete to lose the most weight, got slagged after it emerged that she had a gastric band fitted in Belgium in September to restrict her
food intake.
The Diamond Diet book is going to be out in winter 2006, just in time for Christmas. This is to be her third diet book; she also released an autobiography in 2005 detailing her public battle with obesity.
Ms Diamond may not be to some the role model for dieters as she only lost 1lb on her diet on the Celebrity Fit Club.
