Women clean in order to feel in control of their lives and feel to be, current research highlights. 50% of respondents considered themselves to be "cleanaholics."

Discovery Home and Health undertook the survey and found that 46% wanted to cut down on dusting and scrubbing and dusting.
Home chores take 9 years, 2 months and 25 days over an average life and women spend nearly £10.00 a week on cleaning products, like air fresheners .
Women even compare their cleaning efforts to other women's homes. 70% consider that they will be considered "lazy" if their homes are lefty untidy.
Apparently British women feel much happier and more in control of life when their homes are clean and tidy. Cleaning is the latest therapy.
