Anger
is a mental state whereby we observe an object, feel it to be undesirable,
magnify its negative qualities, become antagonistic and cultivate a
wish to harm the object.
Anger harms us all.
It harms the individual who feels it and those towards whom it is
directed against.
Anger destroys our relationships. Anger changes our perception of
what is happening around us and pulls us into situations; situations,
with hindsight, we would have never contemplated.
Once anger has flared up in our minds, it is difficult to quell.
Anger is like a raging fire, destroying whatever lies in its path.
By cultivating awareness of our own minds, we can learn how to recognise
anger rising and deal with it appropriately.
